Weigh belts are used to obtain an approximate product weight or continuous flow rate “on stream” during product transfer. Commercial load rollers are utilized to determine the weight of the product on the belt, and can be located in dedicated conveyors like the one shown or installed in existing conveyors. Accuracy is typically +/- 1%, but may vary depending on product, conveyor loading, and other variables. Optional controls are available which provide PLC interface capability for advanced control applications.
