A roller conveyor is typically used for filling dryer and bulk storage bins, but is also well suited to long distance “point to point” transfers of shelled corn and other products. Bin filling applications utilize formed conveyor sides with an integral “track” for tripper operation. Conventional fabricated sides are better suited for transfer applications to reduce cost and provide better weather protection for the return belt. Extended lower side rails and expanded metal bird screens can also be provided for critical applications.
