This conveyor
style is typically used for short distance transfer
of ear corn within a husking facility. The slider
bed configuration and integral drive construction
provides a simple, low cost conveyor suitable
for rerun and discard applications. Motorized
head pulleys are available for short conveyors,
with external gear reducers used for higher power
or flexible belt speed requirements. Conveyor
designs are available for either standard “rough
top” belting or cleated belting for steep
inclines.
